Phuket Diving at Phi Phi Islands

Situated slightly more than 2 hours due east of Phuket, these picturesque group of islands consist of limestone cliffs above the water and the diving displays colourful walls of soft corals below. 

Shoals of snappers, angelfish, butterfish are found in abundance around this underwater wonderland. Other regular dive buddies are reef and leopard sharks. These sites are a National Marine Park and there is an extra 600 baht fee per diver.

Phi Phi is located about 45 km east of Phuket and there are a group of islands and majestic limestone walls with dive sites dotted around it.

Phi Phi is split into 2 islands – Phi Phi Ley and Phi Phi Don (the largest of the two islands).
This group of islands offer an abundance of marine life including colourful soft and hard corals as well as schools of barracuda, snappers and trevally. Leopardsharks, Bamboo sharks, Black and White tip reef sharks are also regular dive buddies. There are also some swim throughs and caves to explore for the more adventurous diver..

The dive sites around Phi Phi:

Loh Samah Bay (east of Phi Phi)
The most popular dive sites around Phi Phi are Koh Bida Nai and KoBida Nok (south of Phi Phi). Hin Bida or Phi Phi Sharkpoint (further south of Koh Bida).
Laem Thong (north of Phi Phi Don).
Koh Yoong or Mosquito Island (north of Phi Phi Don)

These dive sites are suitable for all levels of divers.
