Phuket Diving Thailand!
Outer
island diving getaways:
Our very popular dive packages are not complete without our
daily boat tours to dive sites further away on the South and
East Coast off Phuket. These dive
sites are situated 90 minutes to 2 hours away by comfortable
boat with ample shaded areas or a
sundeck for sunworshippers. The dive sites vary enormously
offering diving tours for beginners as well as experienced
divers. We offer a selection of dive boats so that our divers
have more choice. All daytrips are inclusive of hotel transfers,
Divemaster, lunch, refreshments (excl. soft drinks), cylinders,
weights and belts. Fresh water showers and clean western toilet
facilities are available. A fun day out for all!!!

Phuket
divng at
Racha Yai
This tropical island lies 90 minutes south of Phuket where
the water is calm and clear for diving all year round. These
dive sites offer mainly hard corals with an abundance of colourful
marine life. Multicoloured parrot fish, yellow tailed snappers
and cheeky trigger fish are common residents. With a maximum
depth of 18 meters all levels of diver experience can enjoy
these easy relaxing drift dives. Non divers can enjoy snorkelling
here as well.
Phuket diving at Racha
Noi
Similarly named although in Thai - Yai means big and Noi means
small. Further 30 minutes from the sister island, the dive
sites here can be more demanding but the rewards are certainly
worth it. These waters are the playground for gamefish such
as sailfish and barracuda. Manta rays, stingrays, reef- and
leopard sharks are also regular playmates for the divers.
.
Phuket diving at
Sharkpoint
Only 90 minutes east of Phuket, this popular dive site is
marked by a lone rock that emerges the surface on the northernmost
point of 3 submerged rock formations. Divers are guaranteed
great diving here. Docile leopard sharks, soft corals, hard
corals, gorgonian sea fans and sponges are the main attractions.
Inquisitive juvenile moray eels are normally seen as well.
Phuket
diving at
Anemone Reef
Situated within sight of Sharkpoint approximately 300 meters
north, this submerged pinnacle offers divers an array of colourful
soft corals and sea anemones dotted with clown fish. Also home
to leopard sharks, small groupers and schools of barracudas
with curtains of surgeons, moorish idols and angelfish.

Phuket diving at
Koh Doc Mai
Flower island, 1 hour east of Phuket is an oblong shaped boulder
with sheer cliffs extending to the seabed . At these dive
sites divers can enjoy idyllic deep wall and drift dives.
The underwater cliffs are covered with marine flora, from
soft and hard corals to sea fans and sponges. Black and white
banded sea snakes and giant barracuda are regular dive buddies.
Phuket diving
at The King Cruiser Wreck
On the 4th May 1997 this 85 meter catamaran sank. The passenger
ferry hit the top of Anemone Reef en route to Phi Phi island.
All 600 plus passengers were saved by nearby fishing boats.
As a diver you will find this site is an ideal wreck dive
with the top deck of the boat at 12 meters and sitting upright
on the seabed at 30 meters.
Wide passage
ways and open passenger decks make this a very safe and enjoyable
wreck dive for all levels of diver experience. Marine life
such as glasseye fish, batfish, lionfish are settling in nicely
and just recently larger gamefish have also decided to move
in.
Phuket
diving at
Phi Phi Islands
Situated slightly more than 2 hours due east of Phuket, these
picturesque group of islands consist of limestone cliffs above
the water and the diving displays colourful walls of soft
corals below. Shoals of snappers, angelfish, butterfish are
found in abundance around this underwater wonderland.
Leopard sharks and other pelagics are also commonly seen. Possible
sightings of whale shark and manta rays.
