As usual we celebrated both New Years Eve and Christmas day with great zest. On Christmas Day we had a traditional Christmas lunch late afternoon after the days diving at The Bounty Bar located next to the club. New Years Eve we spent at Pen’s Seafood Restaurant on Kata Beach. We all had a great time and hope that all Phuket Scuba Club members and friends did so as well.

Congratulations to Jens and Lutz from Germany on passing their Advanced Course. This programme is conducted over 2 days and is designed to improve your diving skills therefore giving you more confidence with your abilities in the water.

The club Divemaster candidate Nic came from the UK to dive with us on Phuket and has recently passed his Instructor Development Course and Instructors Exam. Hi did his IDC with the club’s favourite Course Director Bent Posejpal. Nic has been so successful and with his sunny personality he fitted in so well with Phuket Scuba Club, to the extent that we immediately snapped him up and offered him a job.
